For financial services marketers, it seems Team USA is a safer bet than the Olympics as a whole.
Advertising from financial services companies makes up 7.6% of corporate advertising for the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia, and 17.1% of Team USA’s advertising, according to a study by Bank Innovation.
Visa is the only financial services company advertising with both Team USA and the overall Olympics.
