PayPal held onto the top spot as the most downloaded financial services app for the second straight week. PayPal has remained at or near the top our rankings since we began keeping track on September 7th.
Chase Mobile edged out Bank of America’s app for the No. 2 spot. Bank of America dropped down to No. 3. Wells Fargo Mobile and Mint.com held steady in the 4 and 5 spots.

Lemon Wallet, which recently announced major updates to its app, dropped six spots to land at No. 13, and U. S. Bank, which was updated for iOS 6 on October 2nd, had the biggest gain of the week, rising five spots to No. 12. (Reviews for the update, which corrected glitches in the billpay and remote deposit feature, are mixed at best.)
PNC Mobile was another big mover, dropping five spots to No. 18. Quicken Money Management, SunTrust Mobile, and iSpending are newcomers to the Top 20 this week. (iSpending held the No. 17 spot two weeks ago.) TD Bank and Zillow Mortgage Calculator depart the Top 20 this week.
