The minions at Intuit have been busy.
In the last six weeks, Intuit has launched four new iPhone apps, or versions of existing apps. The newest app came to iTunes just last week.
A brief rundown of Intuit new slate of app-alicious stuff:
Launched Oct 9, this app allows access to “essential QuickBooks data so you can quickly answer customer questions and get more done on the go.” Price: Free
Lets iPhone users accept payments. Either card numbers can be entered manually, or merchants can use “the optional mophie credit card reader to enjoy rates as low as 1.7%.” Sounds Square-like. Launched Oct 2. New Version corrects some bugs. Pricing: essentially, Intuit doesn’t make the discount rates public (you can find the pricing details here), however Visa’s International Assessment Fee is 0.4% for all international transactions and MasterCard is charging 0.55% on transactions in the US on cards issued elsewhere.
Location deals (in San Francisco and Atlanta only as of now). App was launched Sept 21. Price: Free.
