Mint.com continues to be a rock star in the personal finance management world. Yesterday, Chief Executive Officer Aaron Patzer succinctly dished on the company’s team up with the newly branded Yahoo at the Finovate conference. Now, Mint has a widget available on the browser’s main homepage. The goal? That users check their finances as much as they check the weather.

I personally see this as a information security disaster in the making, along the lines of the “banking-via-twitter” story. But that said, there seems to be an entire generation out there that cares more about convenience than privacy.
